DOKDO COMMEMORATIVE COIN TZS 3,000
There are rumors going around in social media that in July 2019, Bank of Tanzania issued a commemorative coin of TZS 3000 portraying the Dokdo Island on the obverse side and Tanzanian court of arms on the reverse side. Bank of Tanzania would like to clarify that the rumors are malicious and unfounded. Further, it has never in any way contracted any company to mint such a coin.
